Your COD Mobile Rank Guide 2025: Climb, Earn Rewards & Have Fun!
Welcome to Ranked Play — where every match counts and every win feels that much sweeter!
Call of Duty: Mobile’s ranked system gives players a chance to test their skills, face real competition, and earn awesome rewards along the way.
Whether you’re diving into standard multiplayer or battle royale, ranked mode brings structure, challenge, and a real sense of progress.
You don’t need to be a pro-level competitor (yet!) to enjoy it — ranked is all about personal growth, teamwork, and the thrill of climbing higher each match. Let’s break it all down.
Call of Duty Mobile celebrates 6th year now! If you are just starting with the game – here is a small bite of history. Six years of iconic weapons, maps, and operators!
Understanding COD Mobile Ranks
COD: Mobile keeps things fair with separate ranked leaderboards for multiplayer and battle royale. Each mode rewards a different playstyle — so you can specialize in the one you love most.
The Full Rank Ladder
There are seven main ranks to climb:
Rookie (I–V)
Veteran (I–V)
Elite (I–V)
Pro (I–V)
Master
Grandmaster
Legendary
The first four ranks are split into five tiers each, giving you small milestones to celebrate as you move closer to the top.
How Ranking Works
Your rank is determined by a point-based system. You earn points by performing well in matches, winning games, and staying consistent. Once you hit Legendary, you’ll appear on the top 5,000 global leaderboard, where the best of the best compete.
💡 Pro Tip: Reaching Grandmaster or higher unlocks a special protection system that prevents big drops in inactive modes — your skill and effort are always recognized.

Ranked Game Modes
Multiplayer Options
You’ll find a mix of fast-paced and tactical modes, including:
Team Deathmatch
Domination
Hardpoint
Search & Destroy
Payout Search & Destroy (limited-time)
New players start with Team Deathmatch and gradually unlock more modes as they rank up — perfect for mastering the basics first!
Battle Royale
Test your endurance in massive, last-player-standing matches where survival, positioning, and smart engagements are key.
Limited Time Mode.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 also introduces a new fun activity with WWE collaboration: Limited Time Mode.
“All Operators launch into the map with Prizefighters (aka boxing gloves) to keep the fight up close and personal. Operators on a hot streak will transform into WWE Operators like Undertaker.
Once transformed, players gain access to unique Finishing Moves that can be performed from any direction along with enhanced abilities, like increased health, that prove your role as the king of the ring!“ as per official season introduction
How Scoring Works
Multiplayer Scoring
Your points are influenced by:
Match performance (kills, objectives, assists)
Wins (more points for victories)
Win streaks (the more you win, the faster you climb!)
Bonus boosts:
Multi-select bonus (playing multiple modes)
Daily first-win bonus
Clan bonuses
✨ Beginner Bonus: Players below Elite I can’t lose rank points — a safe zone to learn and grow.
Battle Royale Scoring
Here’s what matters:
Eliminations
Survival time
Final placement
Extra bonuses:
Multi-select, daily, and clan bonuses all apply here too.
💡 If you need to leave a BR match early, you’ll still earn points for your performance up to that moment.
Team-Up Rules
Playing with friends? Absolutely — CODM encourages it!
Rookie to Pro: You can team up with players within two ranks of your own.
Master and above: You can group with players within one rank for tighter matchmaking.
Full squads (4–5 players): Matched against other full teams for fair, organized battles.

Ranked Series & Seasons Explained
Here’s how it works:
Seasons last about 4–6 weeks and bring new content and themes.
Ranked Series last 14 weeks — this is what determines your rank reset and rewards.
Rank Reset Rules
At the end of each Ranked Series, your rank drops slightly — not back to zero — giving you a fair restart based on your previous progress.
Higher ranks start higher in the next series, so your efforts always pay off.
Ranked Rewards
Every Ranked Series brings exclusive themed rewards — from weapon skins and calling cards to outfits and charms.
You’ll earn rewards as you reach each new rank, so there’s no need to wait until the series ends.
🔥 Don’t forget: Check your in-game mailbox to claim rewards before the series resets!

Tips to Rank Up Faster
Want to climb efficiently? Here’s what top players do:
🎮 Multi-Select Bonus: Play multiple modes to earn extra XP. Variety = more rewards!
🎯 Daily First-Win Bonus: Always grab your first win of the day for bonus points.
🤝 Join a Clan: Earn clan bonuses and find teammates who match your style.
🛡️ Use Ranked Shield Cards: These protect you from losing points after a loss.
💡 Save them for promotion matches or when you’re close to ranking up.
Your Ranked Journey
Early Ranks (Rookie–Veteran): Learn the maps, test different weapons, and find your rhythm.
Mid Ranks (Elite–Pro): Competition tightens — this is where you really start improving your aim and strategy.
High Ranks (Master–Legendary): The best of the best. Reaching these levels shows serious skill and dedication.
Fair Play & Rules
Match Completion: Leaving early in multiplayer causes a point penalty and temporary ban.
(In Battle Royale, you still earn points for your performance before leaving.)Protected Progression: Players under Elite I can’t lose rank points, keeping things beginner-friendly.
