The Rank Ladder
Ranked mode unlocks once you hit level 50 — by then, you should already know your favorite ops and basic mechanics. From there, you’ll work your way through eight tiers:
Copper → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Emerald → Diamond → Champion
Every rank (except Champion) has five divisions, giving you a total of 35 milestones to progress through. Each step forward represents your improving map knowledge, mechanics, and game sense.
How Rank Progression Works
Ranked 2.0 uses RP (Ranked Points) plus a hidden MMR system to track your growth. You’ll need 100 RP to move up a division. Strong personal performance — even in a loss — still helps your progress, so every round counts!
Your starting point is around 1,100 RP (Copper). As you improve, that number climbs. Focus less on “grinding” and more on learning — the ranks will naturally follow.

Playing With Friends
You can queue with teammates whose MMR is within 1,000 points of yours (roughly within a few ranks). So Bronze players can still play with Copper friends — great for keeping your squad together while improving as a team.

20 Ways to Level Up Your Ranking Faster
1. 🎯 Warm Up Before Ranked
Hop into the shooting range or Free-for-All first. Spend 15 minutes working on recoil, tracking, and quick flicks. You’ll enter ranked matches sharper and more confident.
2. 🤝 Find Good Teammates
Playing consistently with reliable teammates helps a lot. Start solo, play well, and you’ll naturally meet players who vibe with your style. Duo queues are often the sweet spot for coordination and flexibility.
3. 🎭 Pick Smart Operators
Choose operators that fit your team’s strategy, not just your comfort zone. Flexibility is powerful — the more ops you can play effectively, the more valuable you become.
4. 🗺️ Control the Map
Defenders: Contest space beyond site and waste attackers’ time.
Attackers: Take ground with drones, open sightlines, and pressure defenders early.
5. 👥 Stick With Your Team
Trade kills, provide cover, and coordinate pushes. Siege rewards teamwork more than hero plays — play together, win together.
6. 🗣️ Communicate Clearly
Callouts don’t have to be fancy — just clear and calm. Share info, ping enemy spots, and encourage your team. Positivity spreads fast.
7. 💪 Play With Confidence
Even small confident plays — a smart flank, a clutch plant, a refrag — can shift momentum. Confidence grows from preparation, so trust the work you’ve put in.
8. 🎮 Learn From Every Match
After tough rounds, rewatch clips or mentally note mistakes. Was your timing off? Wrong angle? Keep learning — progress happens fastest when you review instead of rage.
Pro tip: If you’re on a losing streak, take a short break. Fresh focus beats tilted grinding every time.
9. 🎯 Focus on the Objective
Kills are flashy, but objectives win games.
Attackers: Prioritize planting the defuser.
Defenders: Anchor the site and coordinate retakes.
10. 🤖 Master Drones
Your drones are your eyes — use them wisely. Save one during prep phase, watch flanks, and always scout before pushing. Good droning equals free kills.
11. 🗺️ Learn Map Layouts
Custom games are perfect for learning rotations, hatches, and vertical play angles. The more familiar you are, the more confidently you’ll move.
12. 📍 Use Pings Like a Pro
Yellow ping: Silent and precise — perfect for stealth callouts.
Red ping: Use only for distraction or bait near the end of rounds.
Smart pings make communication effortless, even without voice chat.
13. 🎒 Don’t Forget Your Gadgets
Use every piece of utility your operator has — not just your weapon. Armor packs, cameras, explosives — they all swing rounds if used right.
14. 🖱️ Dial In Your Sensitivity
Experiment until you find what feels natural. Consistency matters more than numbers — once it feels right, stick with it and practice daily.
15. 📹 Help Even When You’re Down
If you’re eliminated early, hop on cams or drones. Feeding your teammates info can easily turn the round in your favor.
16. 🎲 Take Smart Risks
Sometimes a bold peek or unexpected play changes everything. Trust your reads — as long as it’s calculated, not random.
17. 💬 Use Voice Chat (or Text)
Communicate actively, but don’t overdo it. Share useful info quickly, keep energy positive, and you’ll notice smoother teamwork.
18. 📋 Build and Practice Strategies
Jump into Custom mode with your squad to plan site defenses or execute attacks. Try them in Unranked before using them in Ranked. Pro players do this all the time.
19. 🎯 Train Your Aim
Regular aim training is the foundation. Use shooting range targets to master recoil and flicks. Improvement here carries over to every gunfight.
20. 🌟 Stay Positive — Seriously
You can’t control every match, but you can control your attitude. Focus on what you learned, not just the scoreboard. Tilt kills performance faster than anything.

How Ranks Move Up (and Down)
Advancing a division usually takes around three wins, depending on:
Your performance
Match count
Hidden MMR vs visible rank
The better you play — even in losses — the more consistent your climb. Focus on playing well, not just on streaks.
