Namor and his squid turrets create constant pressure! Spawning up to two Monstro Spawns that target enemies automatically gives you excellent zone control. Landing critical hits sends them into a frenzy, and any hits reduce cooldowns, letting you constantly refresh turrets!

His Wrath of the Seven Seas ability triggers turret frenzies and focuses their fire – devastating when coordinated! His ultimate summons Giganto, dealing 500 damage in the inner circle, perfect for clearing objectives. He’s even one of the few heroes who can eliminate Luna Snow during her ultimate! Mr. Fantastic is Marvel Rivals’ first hybrid Duelist/Vanguard, and he’s fascinating! With 350 health plus his Reflexive Rubber ability absorbing 300 more damage, he has incredible sustain. With team support, he’s nearly unkillable while dealing enough damage to set up eliminations for teammates!

His ability to pull himself to allies or enemies provides solid mobility, and his passive grants bonus health and damage. Swinging his arms horizontally hits multiple enemies simultaneously – overwhelming opponents with pressure! His ultimate disrupts enemies beautifully. Mr. Fantastic teaches teamwork and positioning!

7. Magik

Magik combines heavy-hitting melee with some of the best sustain among Duelists! Her passive grants bonus health based on damage dealt, letting you stay in fights longer. Her sword deals 65 damage, and you can cancel into quick melee for faster attacks!

The Stepping Discs are amazing – entering a portal makes you invulnerable, and exiting lets you choose between a circular sword swing or summoning a damage-dealing demon. You can negate ultimates entirely by portaling at the right moment! Her Darkchild ultimate enhances all attacks for massive damage and healing. Magik is incredibly fun and rewarding to master!

6. Spider-Man

Spider-Man is an assassin in the right hands! Three web swing charges provide incredible mobility for getting in and out of combat. His combo system is satisfying: apply Spider-Tracers with alt-fire, web pull enemies (or yourself to them), use Amazing Combo to uppercut them, then punch repeatedly for bonus damage!

A full combo eliminates non-Vanguards, then you web swing to safety and do it all again! His ultimate stuns survivors, making it great for multi-eliminations. Spider-Man has a high skill ceiling, but mastering him feels phenomenal. Perfect for players who want to embody everyone’s favorite wall-crawler!

5. Psylocke

Psylocke deals incredible burst damage! Her primary fire’s headshot crits are powerful, and landing shots reduces cooldowns by 0.25 seconds – constant ability access! She gets two dash charges dealing 50 damage each, and her Wing Shurikens are deadly, granting bonus health per hit!

You can recall Shurikens immediately, letting them hit the same enemy twice instantly – massive damage! Her stealth ability lasts three seconds for sneaking in or escaping, and you can take damage without breaking stealth. Her ultimate dashes around dealing big hits automatically, and you can’t be eliminated once it starts! Psylocke rewards aggressive, skillful play!

4. Iron Fist

Iron Fist is the highest-ranked melee Duelist thanks to amazing damage and self-sustain! His rapid punches reduce Dragon’s Defense cooldown, which blocks attacks, converts damage into bonus health, and empowers his next combo. His flying kick finishes low-health enemies beautifully!

Harmony Recovery refills health with excess becoming bonus health, letting Iron Fist stay in enemy backlines indefinitely! His ultimate boosts damage, speed, and attack range while reducing cooldowns – becoming an unstoppable force! Iron Fist feels powerful and rewarding, whether you’re playing him or facing off against one!

3. Phoenix

Phoenix has an incredible damage ceiling and fantastic sustain! Her precise fire blasts apply Sparks, and three Sparks cause explosions that damage nearby enemies AND heal Phoenix for 40 HP over 4 seconds. This makes staying alive surprisingly easy!

All her abilities work with this system: Telekinesis Blast creates three fire pillars applying Spark, Dark Ascent lets her fly briefly, and Telepathic Illusion teleports while leaving an exploding decoy. Her ultimate, Endsong Inferno, clears enemy summons, shields, and bonus health while applying Sparks! Landing three primary hits eliminates most enemies, and the healing keeps you in fights. Phoenix is powerful and deeply satisfying!

2. Hawkeye

Hawkeye is incredibly powerful! His arrows deal hefty damage, and his passive grants up to 80 bonus damage by charging sight (under a second for full charge). This means Hawkeye can eliminate non-Vanguards in one fully-charged shot – phenomenally strong!

His sword slash knocks enemies back and up, setting up easy headshots and keeping melee heroes at bay. His ultimate creates enemy afterimages that can be hit to damage them, making cover useless and earning the passive bonus. Hawkeye rewards precision and game sense, making skilled players devastatingly effective!

1. Hela

Hela currently reigns supreme among Duelists! Her fast fire rate, nasty damage output, and incredibly easy-to-land primary fire combine perfectly. Despite damage falloff, she deals 70 base damage with massive crit potential, and hitting headshots is straightforward without projectile travel time. Two shots can melt enemies!

She has eight rounds before reloading, making her consistently dangerous. Her explosive sphere stuns enemies for headshot setups, and Piercing Night fires four explosive rounds. She can turn into an invulnerable crow for repositioning, and her passive spawns explosive crows from eliminated enemies!

Her Goddess of Death ultimate is spectacular – flying above with 1,000 health while throwing 125-damage explosive blasts for 10 seconds! Hela is powerful, accessible, and incredibly fun to play. She’s the perfect example of a well-designed high-tier hero!
